Advent Calendar Day 4

Today we have a little vintage holiday cartoon that I don't believe I've shared before. This is the 1940s horror classic (well, kinda!) The Snow Man. It's only about eight minutes long, so relax and enjoy before you get to work!

    LOL. Who conceived of that cartoon? Not of the Frosty ilk for sure. Perhaps being sandwiched between world wars will do that to you. :p On the other hand, I’m still pondering the pelican, (a pelican at the North Pole?) coming out of the igloo with the mother seal and all her babies. A Christmas miracle for sure. ;)

    So you see boys and girls climate change is real! Oy! Animation stories and aesthetics sure have changed and it seems children in the 1940’s were made of sterner stuff than late 20th/early 21st century children.
