Gingerbread Martini
(as served at the Outback)
Ingredients
1 oz. vodka (use vanilla vodka if you like extra sweetness)
1/2 oz. Kahlua
1/2 oz.Bailey’s Irish Cream
1/2 oz. gingerbread syrup
1 oz. ice milk or ice cream (I use the Talenti Madagascar Vanilla gelato)
Preparation
Mix all ingredient in a shaker with ice and shake well. Strain into a martini glass rimmed with crushed graham cracker crumbs and sugar. Top with whipped cream and garnish with a gingerbread cookie. (Those tiny gingery iced ones from Trader Joe's are perfect)!
Wow! That looks good to me! I think I may try it! ;)
ReplyDeleteIt's delicious. Maybe best as a dessert drink though. It's definitely on the sweet side.
DeleteSounds good!
ReplyDeleteIt is!!
DeleteOMG! I adore gingerbread everything, this looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteIt's truly yummy and so festive!
DeleteOMG! That sounds like pudding *laughs* Not a complaint, not at all. I might try it; after all, if it has Bailey’s in it, it's already half-way to become a favourite :P
ReplyDeleteI don't think you'd want to drink them all evening (she said ruefully) but they're great to start the occasion--or to end it. ;-)
DeleteI actually had one of these at Outback last year and it was sooo yummy!
ReplyDeleteThat's where I discovered them--taking the kidlings for their annual Christmas extravaganza outing. :-D
DeleteOOhhh...must try one of these STAT!
ReplyDeleteYum! I'm so sad Starbucks does not have Gingerbread Latte this holiday season :( This looks like a worthy replacement :)
