Love see Jo Stafford on the list, one of my favorites - along with often overlooked Lee Wiley. I would add in Art Tatum "I've Got My Love too Keep Me Warm".

DeleteThose are all on my favorites list! Just for silliness I also like "I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas" 😄 I would add Bing Crosby and David Bowie's "Little Drummer Boy" duet.

Any Christmas song by Nat King Cole is perfection. And Christmas is not Christmas without a little Satchmo!

ReplyDeleteI like a lot of the traditional songs. This is a great list, although I'd need to add Let It Snow and Please Come Home for Christmas.
ReplyDeleteMy very favorite Christmas song is "Please Come Home for Christmas" (Charles Brown, Aaron Neville, Eagles). Also, "O Holy Night" (Pavarotti). It's not really Christmas until Darlene Love sings "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)" now only on YouTube.
