  5. Wow! I've never seen these. That clumsy, little Dutch boy. Lol. I love the story of Rudolph, but as I get older, I can't help but think it's really a story about how you're only appreciated if your oddity is useful to society. I know it's just those crazy deer, but my mind can't help but twist it. Hopefully I didn't ruin that memory for everyone.

Hope you're feeling better. Headcolds at Christmas are not fun... Well, headcolds any time are not fun but especially at the holidays. Drink you wassail. ;)

    1. I hate being sick for the holidays, though it seems like the SO and I do this every year.

As for useful oddities... Hm. But you know, if we're being realistic, we are only appreciated for what we can bring to the table. So I guess the message of...even those who do not seem useful on the surface may still prove useful is maybe a good one. It's brutal out there.

      MERRY FREAKING CHRISTMAS! ;-D

  8. Those cartoons are fun! :) My daughter-in-law can not abide the story of Rudolph. lol. She says it's the classic story of how most people treat you badly until they want something from you. :p She's probably right, but I still love a good story of the underdog coming out on top! Hope you and your SO get back on your feet soon! Get well!
