Thank you for your support -- for buying the books, for reviewing, and even simply for telling your friends you enjoyed a story by Josh Lanyon. It's all very much appreciated.
ALSO a very big thank you to everyone who took part in this year's Advent Calendar. Not just those of you who contributed stories and art (although I'm so grateful and so appreciative of your generosity -- you guys are so talented. It's almost unnerving!) but also to those of you who simply participated by leaving comments or joining in the games.
The calendar is a way of saying Thank You to my readers, so there's really no need to participate -- most of the posts average between 800 - 1000 views, so I know people are seeing and enjoying the calendar -- but when so many other people contribute, I want them to know their work is being enjoyed and appreciated too, so it means a lot when someone takes the time to comment. :-) Thank you ALL very much.
I wish every single person who reads this message Health and Happiness in 2018.
From "The Passing of the Year" by Robert W. Service
My pipe is out, my glass is dry;
My fire is almost ashes too;
But once again, before you go,
And I prepare to meet the New:
Old Year! a parting word that’s true,
For we’ve been comrades, you and I --
I thank God for each day of you;
There! bless you now! Old Year, good-bye!
Loved the poem. <3 It's showered with so much hope which warmed my heart. Thank you for all the stories, Josh! Here's to more plot bunnies & wonderful characters to come. *cheers*

A beautiful New Year blessing from Neil Gaiman:
ReplyDeleteBe kind to yourself in the year ahead.
Remember to forgive yourself, and to forgive others. It's too easy to be outraged these days, so much harder to change things, to reach out, to understand.
Try to make your time matter: minutes and hours and days and weeks can blow away like dead leaves, with nothing to show but time you spent not quite ever doing things, or time you spent waiting to begin.
Meet new people and talk to them. Make new things and show them to people who might enjoy them.
Hug too much. Smile too much. And, when you can, love.
Happy New Year, Josh!
Thanks so much for another fun Advent Calendar.
ReplyDeleteWishing you and yours a very happy, healthy New Year. <3
