The Irregulars anthology squares off against Riptide Publishing in Round 2 of the Zippety Dabwaha Death Match 3000!!!
But I know you don't want rhetoric and shameless appeals to emotion. So here is a list of hard, cold facts as to why you should be voting for Ginn Hale, Nicole Kimberling, Astrid Amara, and yours truly.
See the video here.
And THEN you can pop over here and vote. You don't even have to register. You can vote on every electronic device in the house! In fact, we NEED you to vote on every electronic device in the house. This is going to be an uphill battle.
Think of us. The gallant RAF battling against the brutal Luftwaffe.
The video is too funny! Lol, this is great! :-) voted as much as possible!
ReplyDeleteIsn't that funny? And she had only a couple of hours. Think what she could have done with a week! :-D It would have been interactive.
ReplyDeleteOoooh interactive... ;-) yeah, a new project maybe? For the Christmas Irregulars? Because it must win! :-)
ReplyDeleteWell, if we win the category we're doing Irregulars Christmas codas. That would be pretty cool, you must admit! ;-)
DeleteOh yes, i admit, i admit! :-) it would be so very very cool to have Irregulars codas. Last year i was having this stupid cold during the Christmas week off, and those codas made me so happy! Of course, i wouldn't not accept any other interactive stuff that might be like a bonus to the bonus stories ;-)
DeleteI've voted twice (on the same device). Is that kosher?
ReplyDeleteIt's kosher to vote as many times as you have ISPs!
ReplyDelete:-D Kooky, I know!
Okey, dokey. I'll wander back over.
DeleteAmazing video!! I just voted and it's neck and neck...
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! I think that vote did it. ;-)
DeleteI only have one "electronic device", but you got my vote. Looks like you're only behind by eighteen. Maybe I can recruit a few family members? I'll try.
ReplyDeleteThat's all I can figure what happened. People must have been coercing family and friends -- and strangers off the street.
DeleteThank you for that vote(s)!
You've pulled away from your competition very nicely. I hit the button a couple of times from different browsers (Google, Firefox, AT&T) as well as my smarty pants phone. Seems to work. You must have some truly dedicated fans and friends. Your match has about 400 more votes than any of the others. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteWas that true of the earlier match? I think m/m readers are devoted WAY beyond the normal call of duty.
DeleteGee, I've forgotten most of what I knew about ISPs. In my somewhat sordid past, I did design a few web sites, but that was 10-15 years ago. However, there is some little niggling in my brain that reminds that different browsers may track differently. Of course, we don't know if all my votes counted.
DeleteAnd, to be truthful, I'm not certain Irregulars is gonna be my kind of thing. I love mystery, suspense, some sci-fi, but I'm getting horror vibes from the title. I will try it, but...
Irregulars won!!! Hurray! It was pretty much touch and go there for a while but we have prevailed! :-)
ReplyDeleteI think the Brits went to bed or something! :-)
DeleteThe next opponent gonna be Abi Roux's Stars & Stripes looks like. Bring it on, eh. ;-)
ReplyDeleteSurrender all hope! That would be us. No way are we going to beat out Abi Roux. Still! We're having a good run.
DeleteHeed Sir Winnie Churchill's words:
Delete“Never give in, never give in, never; never; never; never - in nothing, great or small, large or petty - never give in except to convictions of honor and good sense”
Those are inspiring words, for sure!
DeleteI second the inspiring words! and in this case, for next round, i will not get any convictions of good sense for sure ;-)
DeleteGood sense? We don't need no stinkin' good sense!
DeleteHear, hear! :-)
DeleteOn behalf of the Blind Eye gang, thank you!
