So, I have to confess. I did not know what a Sporcle Quiz was when reader-friend Ulla S. offered to create one for the Advent Calendar. I had to look it up--here's the word straight from Wikipedia:
Sporcle is a trivia and pub quiz website created by trivia enthusiast Matt Ramme. First launched on April 23, 2007, the website allows users to play and make quizzes on a wide range of subjects, with the option to earn badges by completing challenges. The name Sporcle is a portmanteau of sports and oracle.
Okay! Now that we have THAT out of the way, a big thank you to Ulla! Here's your quiz!
This was incredible fun and more challenging than I thought!
ReplyDeleteMemo to self: Reread all Lanyon books and short stories to refresh memory of MCs to books.
ReplyDeleteThat was fun! Thank you Ulla.
ReplyDeleteI got 100% with 2:55 seconds left on the timer. Yay!
Oh, just wondering: is the black cat in the picture doing ballet? Maybe I should try ballet. With a side of poison.
ReplyDeleteI got there with 3:32 remaining and two observations:
ReplyDelete1) There are a LOT of these where I firmly remember one MCs name but not the other, and…
2) How did I not notice that your oeuvre has TWO Tim Norths????? Especially since Cards on the Table is a fav of mine. 😅
This was very fun, thanks!!!
ReplyDeleteThat was a lot of fun!
ReplyDeleteOK, really, really bad at this!
ReplyDeleteI feel SO ASHAMED of myself!!! It already took me 1 minute to understand that we need to connect 3... Ok I really had fun, but I'm still very ashamed of my terrible 65%...
ReplyDeleteI had the same issue, but I think it took me longer than a minute to figure it out. Lol.
DeleteI did well connecting the two characters but I did poorly remembering what book the went to. There's a lot of "dark" titles. I will play again because my score was too sad to list here.
Thanks for this.
Fun! I thought I'd do better, though!
ReplyDeleteI thought I'd be better at this! Sad results. And 2 Tim Norths? I knew that.
