Now Open: CLOAK AND DAGGER (new JL Author Merch)

A funny thing happened on the way to creating merch for my Patreon account...

The first funny thing was that I ended up creating an Etsy store. That one is still a puzzle. But, I mean, everyone needs a retirement plan, right? Okay, probably not Etsy. But still. Everyone needs a hobby.

So then, I finally got around to creating some Patreon-exclusive merch, but the problem was where and how to handle that merch. I didn't want to mix it into my Etsy store. I didn't want to have Patreon handle my merch given the issues Patreon has with super basic things functionality and internal messaging. Yeesh

Once upon a time I had--well, I didn't have it, but there was a Zazzle store to handle my author merch, but that store was run by my various and dear mods in order to fund the book launches and giveaways and celebrations. But I don't really do book launches anymore.

And of course, I've changed a lot of covers and written a lot of books since back in the day.

Anyway, that's a long way of saying I finally have a new author merch store. It's called Cloak and Dagger after you-know-whose-place-of-business. đŸ˜‰

  1. Wow. An amazing selection of your characters. Being rather fond of Lone Star, I enjoyed seing the reindeer with Mitch.

  2. It's very fun creating this stuff, I must admit

  3. Glad to see you enjoying yourself while creating merch that playfully relates to your work! :D
Hopefully, I do not come on too strong when I say that a lot of your work has helped me come to terms with my own sexuality. In your central work (or at least in what I perceive to be your central work) you put human connection first, which a lot of other MM writers seem to only touch on tangentially. I am very grateful, that you write characters that connect due to their individual psychologies and built relationships on who they are together rather than relying on superficiality. Your more developed couples always appear to revolve around their unique suitability to each other. Sexual attraction feels like the logical consequence to your couples‘ unique suitability, which your books reinforce by comparing and exploring their relationship through romantic foils. Thank you!

  4. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
