Ugh. The holiday flu thing is apparently more persistent than I first thought, so I'm giving myself a day to rest and recouperate. I think I'll be more disappointed than all of you if I'm not able to finish these codas up as planned!
Anyway, I'm drinking my OJ and staying warm and thinking healthy thoughts! You do the same -- we don't want anyone sick for the holidays.
Get well soon :)
ReplyDeleteAwww Josh. Sorry to hear that, get well soon!
ReplyDeleteLook after yourself, Josh, or get your SO to do it for you. Either way, I hope you kick it into touch soon!
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel better very soon!
ReplyDeleteTake care of yourself! Hope you feel better soon :)
ReplyDeleteLots of vitamin C and fluids (yes, OJ!) and warm rest. Real resting. Listen to a good audiobook with your eyes closed. Hope you feel better soon.

Being sick is never fun, and it always seems worse when it happens on vacations/holidays/etc. Take care of yourself, and you'll be better in no time!
ReplyDeleteHoliday or no holiday, sick is no fun. Take care of yourself, Josh. Get well soon!
ReplyDeleteGet well, Josh. The codas are important, but not as important as you. Hope you're feeling better soon.
ReplyDeleteUgh! Get better soon!
ReplyDeleteJust heal and give us Jack & Adrien please... :)
ReplyDeleteYou just take care of yourself! We're not going anywhere. Let me just say two words to you..flu shot. Take some Advil and sleep a lot. I'm sending healing energy to the west. Muah.
ReplyDeleteDrink tea with lemon and honey; and don't worry about codas, your health is more important!
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteI'm with everyone else, get better soon!
ReplyDeleteAs for the Codas... You have already given so much, and although I would love more (as would we all), sometimes the waiting makes the reward that much sweeter.
Have a safe and wonderful holiday.
The codas have been the best, but I like a healthy Josh even more. Please take care and treat yourself well. Hopefully your SO has recovered enough so he can help with YOUR recovery.
ReplyDeletePlease rest, Josh, and only think of getting and feeling better.
Try some nice hot green chile. It is great for clearing your sinuses and full of vitamin C. Tea with honey will also help you feel better. I hope you have a nice snuggly blanket. Get well soon!
ReplyDeleteGet well, Josh.
ReplyDeleteAdriana
Take care, Josh. Feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteOh, no!
ReplyDeleteI agree with the suggestions above for tea with lemon and honey. Lemon juice is a superior remedy to OJ (something about all the sugar in OJ not being so great). I make tea by infusing fresh lemon rind and fresh sliced ginger, then stir in honey and just a bit of lemon juice (I only use organic lemons for this remedy, because pesticides concentrate in the oil-rich rind). It's absolutely delicious--like candy--and all three ingredients fight bugs.
Another great thing is miso broth with shiitake mushrooms. And I use fresh thyme in whatever I can. And fresh garlic. (If you really want to blast your flu--and your taste buds--add the garlic to the lemon, honey, ginger tea. Ummm... Yeah.)
Feel better!!
Melted tsp butter, lemon juice, honey and rum. Drink slowly. Get lots of rest. Hope you feel better soon ;)
ReplyDeleteYum! That last one sounds really good. Hope you get plenty of rest and feel better fast!
ReplyDeleteOh no. :( Do rest and forget about the codas. You have already given us so much joy! I liked the rum comment above... some rum maybe with hot chocolate? ;) Anyway, tea with honey (and I don't mean the SO) works every time. :) Well, come to think of it... maybe tea, honey and SO is the best recipe... ;)
ReplyDeleteTake care! You have all the time in the world. We won't go anywhere.
Johanna - as usual ;-) - said it all!
ReplyDeleteRelax and get well soon!
Ciao
Antonella
Too late, love. Already got it myself. *grins* It's a Los Angeles thing! I caught it when I went up there to La Brea last weekend. It's like the plague, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteAnd damn it. My comment is all truncated!
ReplyDeleteGet better. Coda later. Keep warm. WHISKEY ALL COFFEES! Okay maybe teas. :D
Try adding pieces of ginger to a warm cup of cola, if you are tired of OJ :-)
ReplyDeleteGet well soon!
Feel better soon. Take good care of yourself.
ReplyDeleteAwww, feel better soon, Josh. Yes, drink a lot of OJ or have some warm soup. Getting sick for the holidays is awful.
ReplyDeleteFeel better--
ReplyDeleteYou've worked hard on all these codas!
We'll all be here when you're upright.
Kelly
As much as I'm thoroughly enjoying the codas, your health is more important; so take care of yourself and hope you feel better soon. :)
ReplyDeleteGet well soon!
ReplyDeleteGet well soon and spend the best Christmas day!
ReplyDeleteWarm hugs
Roby
Hope you're feeling better soon, Josh.
ReplyDeleteHugs

Hope you feel better soon, Josh! Don't overdo it (again), stay in bed, drink lots of tea and rest. When you can't stand tea anymore it's a sign that you're on the mend. ;) I hope you'll feel well enough to enjoy Christmas with your loved ones!
ReplyDeleteThank you all for these very kind comments. I slept ten hours last night, so I'm feeling better today. And best of all, I don't have to go anywhere or do anything but wrap presents. :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm shamelessly still waiting for Adrien & Jake. It's the 25th where I am now, so Merry Christmas, Josh! Glad to know you're feeling better. :)
ReplyDeleteTrying to get it done today as a matter of fact! If not today this week for sure. Never fear, I won't let you down.
ReplyDelete:-)
