Advent Calendar Day 29

Another lovely, lovely offering from lovely, lovely Catherine Dair.

This one is from Lonestar, which is one of my top three personal favorite Christmas stories (that I wrote, I mean). ;-D

Cowboys and ballet dancers. It's a natural, right?

    The last page still make my eyes welled up.

    I hope there will be a future coda of them wearing the matching star studs in their portrait or Christmas card photo. Or just going out together.

    I love Lone Star. I listen to it every year just before Christmas. The message is so personal to me, beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time. It's such a rich story.
