  1. I voted. It was really difficult. But I did it. Just let me say this about that, I don't think we can ever let this go to video production. Nobody would be good enough...just sayin. :-)

    1. You have to look at it as a different art form, M. :-) You have to just let go and let it be...

      (Cue the Beatles!)

    2. Hmmph. Another art form. I'll try, but it's not going to be easy. It's another art form, it's another art form..look a squirrel! :-)

    3. There was a really smart thing that an author of urban fantasy said about the TV production of his really awesome books -- he considered that to be an alternate universe version of the character in his books.

      It's not ruined, it's just ... different.

I actually quite enjoyed the show (Dresden Files, in case you're wondering), though the books are ... just MORE.

I would almost certainly buy the TV show and/or movies if any of the Lanyon works were made. It would be really nice to have an R-rated sex scene that I didn't find either enormously boring or very one-sided in appeal.

    4. Actually, I did that with the Southern Vampire books. The show was so different from the books. I just looked at it as a kind of fan fiction show. Same characters different stories. It worked for a couple of seasons, then they just went a direction I couldn't go with them. Oh well..good point, JB. Ok. I'm good now. :-)

  2. I wonder if Sally Field could do the part of Lisa? :)

  3. Josh, I may be in the minority on this, but for me the voting was easy. I was able to pick 3 I liked well enough, but one of them stood out way above the rest. Not only did I like the sound of his voice the best, but I could hear a clear distinction between Will and Taylor's voices when he spoke. Thanks for giving us a chance for some input. :)
