Advent Calendar Day 21 - A Giveaway!

Happy Solstice!

This giveaway has no geographic restrictions. Today I'm giving away 3 print copies of ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS.

In 2012 I began a holiday tradition of writing Christmas codas for some of my -- and your -- favorite stories. I ran the codas on my blog and left them up there for readers to enjoy all year round. Eventually readers began asking if the codas could be collected, formatted, and made available for purchase.

I thought that was a fun idea, so I did that very thing. The codas were edited, some expanded a bit, formatted and collected in two digital collections along with a few recipes for cocktails and dishes that were either featured in the original works or added (IMHO) a final comment or insight into the era or the characters or their relationship.

This print collection contains the two digital collections, meaning codas from 2012 - 2017. I've just about got enough codas to do a third digital collection, which I plan to put together after this year's holiday codas. At that point I believe I'll have written a holiday coda for nearly every one of my stories!

Anyway, to win one of these three copies, just comment below on which of my character pairings are your favorite--and why that is.

  1. Jason & Sam, no question. As to why, I am still trying to put my finger on that. I read a lot and there are a lot of great (pairs of) characters out there, but at the end of the day I always end up with those two. 🙃
Maybe it’s the fact that they are so, so different but against all odds still make it work.

  2. Choosing a favorite couple is almost like choosing a favorite candy, but there is one that stands out. My favorite is Jake and Adrien. Jake fought so hard to overcome his inner demons only to have Adrien reject him. Adrien had to learn to trust and forgive. It took a life-threatening situation to finally bring them together.
My next favorite is Jason and Sam, or is it Jack and Ellery and Watson? So many choices.

  3. Ellery and Jack. They seem like an odd combination but I think they balance each other out. Plus Jack is always there to get Ellery out of trouble.

  4. Griff and Pierce have always been my favorite, even more so from yesterday’s coda❤️ I loved the back forth of these two in the book. Both are so stubborn which makes for the great chemistry. The story is great and continues to be a reread for me.
    Thank you for the chance,
    Marta

  5. I love love love Ellery and Jack! And why? They are a perfect match/ mixture where all kind of things (characteristics) are complete each other. Every day this advent I hope to find a bit of text about them ❤️

  6. Elliot and Tucker. Their rocky history makes their eventual happiness that much more precious. And their devotion to each other is inspiring.

Jason and Sam are my all time favorites. They’re such a lovely couple.

  8. All of your big series couples could qualify, and you know I have a very soft spot for Griff and Pierce. But if I pick a couple from one of your stories that really resonated, it has to be Luke and Tim from Parting Glass. Their devotion and real life obstacles to over come, combined with their deep commitment to each other puts them right up at the top.

  9. I love Jake and Adrien, and adore their Christmas story, but I find I am also in love with couples from some of the short stories, or stand alones. Max and Swift in Come Onto These Yellow Sands, Graham and Wyatt in Perfect Day, Sean and Dan from The Dark Horse series. I reread those books often.

  10. Swift and Max from Come Unto These Yellow Sands are my favorite character pairings. Swift is a wounded, gifted, caring teacher and poet. Max is the local sheriff perplexed about the animosity the town people have for Swift. I love these guys to bits. I can't really explain it, but they've become one of my favorite couples.

  11. Oh man! The classics: Adrien and Jake. They have such a dynamic and frustrating romance. It took me at least five (out of now likely hundreds) of re-reads to really see Jake's side. And now, as much as I adore Adrien (with an e), maybe because I'm older, I can see that he's quite a handful sometimes, lol. Sometimes I just want to shake him and tell him to listen to Jake! But I used to be SO MAD at Jake too. I love that I can read their love story over and over again throughout the years and I can get something new out of it each time.

    Thanks for this opportunity, Josh!

  12. I love Griff and Pierce butt also Jack and Ellery. Why, that is a difficult one. I just like all of them and none of them annoy me. They seem well balanced characters as individuals and as couples. Simply, I'd like to know them. Especially Jack and Ellery.

  13. I already have a copy of this lovely collection of codas so don't count me in the giveaway. A definite tradition each year to re-read some of my favorite couples.
Which is my favorite? So many to come to mind!
So let's go with the quiet ones - Glenn and Nash from In Plain Sight.
This story never fails to remind me to be thankful for those I love because tomorrow is never a guarantee.

  14. My favourites remain Cowboy and Captain (Aubrey & Aloysius>) I love the novella so much, my fav part is how cowboy is only tough on the outside but reaaaaaly not that tough when it comes to finding how to win Bat and how to keep him alive 😭 I love that Bat found a reason to live and I hate how many ppl had to die even as I'm happy that these two made it. I was very happy to discover that you write codas ❤️

  15. Griff and Pierce! They’re the ones I go back to most frequently, followed closely by Tucker and Elliot. The way they feel things very deeply but show it (or don’t!) in such different ways always gets me!

  16. Oh, but this is sooo hard! I love Adrien and Jake. Adrien is funny and Jake is overprotective. They've been through a lot but in the end love prevailed. Then there's JX and Kit. Kit's insecurities makes him relatable and JX being sweet and loyal and loving, they compliment each other and together they're perfect!

  17. A favourite one? Really? Hoe cruel can you be? *breathes in a paper bag*
Okay, okay... I can do this... *deep breathe* I think Ellery and Jack, because they are both a little bit lost when they found each other and when they come together is like two pieces of a puzzle fitting with each other. Also, Watson *dies laughing*
And I think a big part is down to the setting, too. The secondary characters are loveable and they all add their own kind of crazy to the stories ♥

  18. Elliot and Jack! Followed very closely by Sam and Jason! Something about their chemistry and how it took a while for things to move forward. I guess I like to work for the HEA, sometimes, not always

  19. Adrien and Riordan, have since the beginning.

  20. Ok, I try to answer one impossible question before breakfast, everyday.
Well, Adrien and Jake were the ones that started this all...
But then came Griff and Pierce....
Although, right now, I'm really enjoying Leonard and Felix... And Skylar and Rory. I've got both of those audio books on constant rotation. I love the way both of these couples interact.

  21. Jason & Sam 4eva! They are my M/M romance security blanket. Why do I love them so much? Because they are perfectly imperfect. They make me laugh. They’re thrilling! They touch my heart.

  22. Jack, Ellery, and Watson and company, are my current favorite. I love the nosy Silver Sleuths getting Ellery into trouble all of the time. The truth is though that there isn’t a single book that you have written, I haven’t loved. I read a lot of authors’ work, but yours is among the top 3 of my favorites!

  23. I have a fondness for Mitch and Web from "Lone Star". They deserved a second chance. I think I've read their story every year ever since I bought my first copy (I have a few). More recent would be Kit and J.X. I'm really ready to read their next book 😊

  24. Griff & Pierce have always just lovingly resonated with me, a couple I’m always happy to revisit.

  25. Adrien & Jake will always be my favorite, but they are followed closely by Elliot & Tucker (I always got a good chuckle from how Elliot referenced his students - Sandusky, John). Adam and Robert top out my top three. Although Austin & Jeff hold a special place for me because a free copy of A Vintage Affair many, many years ago was what introduced me to your writing. I was hooked from that moment on.
