  3. It's not Thanksgiving here in Canada, but Happy Thanksgiving to all those who celebrate it on this day and may we all remember to be thankful for life's blessings every day.

  4. By the way, someone needs to learn to cook stuffing. Dropping cubes of bread on a turkey is not actually the preferred method! :-D

    1. In my family, we make cornbread dressing (baked in a separate pan...never in the bird). YUM. The best part of the meal. :-P

    2. The SO does a Cajun cornbread dressing, so we always have 2 (casserole style -- not in the bird). I do your basic Mrs. Cubbisons with the addition of clams, nuts, pine nuts, water chestnuts. :-) It makes a nice crunchy dressing.

    3. They both sound yummy, Josh! As for the above picture, I think it's what you might call the photographer's prerogative on how the shot is set up! :)

    4. Josh, I had to Google Mrs. Cubbisons...wasn't sure if it was a brand name or your beloved housekeeper. :-D Your dressing sounds yummy...I must try it. I also love adding fresh oysters to cornbread dressing. Hmmm...maybe for Christmas dinner this year.
